early access

zhanel is in early access. features change, things can break and parts may be paused or removed. we'll tell you before anything that affects your account.

your account

• creating an account needs an invite for now.
• one account per person. keep your password and your sign-ins to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
• give us an email you can read: it's how you sign in and how we reach you.

credits and the trial

the agent runs on ai models that cost money per request, so using it spends credits. an invite may come with free trial credits; there's one trial per computer. credits have no cash value and can't be transferred. paid plans, when they open, come with their price and terms shown before you pay.

your music is yours

you keep every right to your songs, projects and audio. you give us only the permission we need to process what the app sends (see the privacy policy) to answer you.

zhanel changes your project only through steps you can undo, and saves a backup of the set before its first change. still, keep your own backups: you're responsible for your projects.

ai output

the agent's suggestions and changes can be wrong. you hear every change and decide what to keep. don't rely on zhanel for anything where a mistake would cause harm beyond your mix.

what you may not do

• reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the app, the agent or its prompts, except where the law allows it.
• get around limits, credits, invites or sign-in, or share or resell access.
• use zhanel to break the law or someone else's rights, or to attack or overload our services.

parts of zhanel are open source (zhanel-mcp, zhanel ear, zhanel-dsp, the parsers) and come with their own licenses, which take precedence for that code.

other software

zhanel works with your daw and plug-ins but isn't made by or affiliated with their makers. Ableton and Live are trademarks of Ableton AG.

ending

you can stop using zhanel and delete your account at any time. we may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why unless the law doesn't let us.

no warranty, limited liability

zhanel is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. sozlabs isn't liable for lost data, lost projects or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. nothing here limits rights you have under law that can't be limited.
